Jemima Price Live At 12 Bar Club Series

When Jemima and her band packed into the 12 Bar Club no one could comprehend the powerful performance they were to be presented. The set opens with an amazing violin followed by the sultry and intoxicating voice of an angel, Jemima Price. While we loved the outstanding violin it was second only to the soaring vocals and emotional performance of Jemima herself. The sensuality of Jemima on stage reminds us of Gamine and Jess King with her powerful attraction and presence onstage.

We are proud to offer this collection of videos to the public. Bringing great acts to the stage at 12 Bar and broadcasting them around the world is a joy and privilege. Bleeding edge technology from OnlineTV.com Internet broadcasting systems and working with clubs that brought great new talent to the world was and is a dream come true.

Who is Jemima Price

Jemima Price was born in Sussex, England (UK). As a singer and songwriter Jemima Price began it all by performing as a child on Broadway type musicals like ‘Annie‘ and ‘Les Miserables‘ and appeared on both sides of the Atlantic. She concentrated on a singing career in her early twenties. In 1999, the Jemima Price Band released ‘The Pretty Good Years: a Tribute to Tori Amos‘. This was followed in 2000 by A Tribute To Kate Bush. Both albums were credited to E-Clypse featuring Jemima Price.

The Tori Amos tribute was so successful that the label offered Price a solo deal; in 2001, the label released her debut album ‘Easy‘. She met and married Mirek Latosek, a Polish native who moved to the UK after having worked as a musician for ten years, gigging with various bands and performing his own blues/jazz influenced compositions in a trio. He worked with Jemima on a few tracks on her second solo album ‘Turn out the light’. They found a common ground and developed a love of ‘roots’ music. They recruited Sacha Trochet, Darren Reynolds and Jon Wigg and formed the Jemima Price Band. Their debut album ‘No Alibi For Alice‘ was released in 2011.
