Lullabai At Spiral Lounge For OnlineTV
Once in a while I come onto a video from a group I can no longer locate or find anything about them. Usually they were not that good so it goes into a file stashed away for some day far away. In this case, with the band Lullabai, it is different. The performance on our Spiral Lounge stages in New York were lit up when this diva came up to give us this treat. Her set started off almost like other alt-rock from the time but there was something else about this trio.
They are not a power rock group and it is hard to place them. They rock, they have the new millennium drone, they are tight and they play well together. With the lead singer taking the power position they lead off with vocals that really are stunning. To top it off the girl singer is a zinger, a real doll. Reminds me of Betty Boop and perhaps that is why she has that hair style?
Where are Lullabai today
