Morten Abel Shines In Britannia
Legendary Morten Abel is not only one of Norway’s most beloved and successful artists, he is an International treasure. The warm and friendly pop/rock singer and songwriter Morten Abel has been in the global music forefront for nearly three decades. Morten started as the lead singer of the group Mods (Catrix) in the early ’80s and later with the band September When and finally Peltz in the 1990s. He has been a solo performer through the 2000s.
Legendary 12 Bar Club hosts Morten Abel
This early footage of Morten Abel was shot in London as he came to capture the hearts of Brits. The video captured by OnlineTV as Abel played the famous 12 Bar Club and it was broadcast live around the world. Finally, after 2 decades these concerts are being released here at Ricks Music Archives. The tapes have deteriorated a lot and they have been put through several curing procedures which have cleaned them up pretty good. There might still be a dropout here and there but for the majority of the footage it is really nice.
Morten Abel more than a pretty voice
Morten Abel has also spread his creative talents to film. He had already appeared in a 1993 film Hodet Over Vannet and again later in 2004 in a film called Alt For Egil. But his main focus in life has been expressing himself in music.

Watching this master of song deliver his upcoming CD release live to an intimate audience, like that of 12 Bar, was amazing. The fans just loved it and when you watch it you will certainly agree.
