When Grammy Nominated Melissa Reaves takes the stage at the fabulous 12 Bar Club in London she stands there and You never could anticipate the fire and brimstone that is headed your way. In a fiery trance Melissa just rocks from the first minutes right through the set. As if In a blazing trance Melissa just rocks from the first minutes right through the 45 minute set. I think you will find that the songs, the power, the energy takes you away. Her change ups are astounding and there is even a complete musical jazz improv set on this concert. Amazing stuff, living legend stuff.
There is some artifacts and a few jumps here and there in the video but the tapes are from over 20 years ago! I rather give the whole set then cut the songs that have a few jitters here and there. Check the taster out as it has those problems but
In January 2000, Melissa was chosen to participate in a “Women of the Millennium” showcase at MIDEM in Cannes, France and toured in both England and France which included opening for Robert Plant of Led Zepplin, and of course, this amazing solo set at the legendary 12 Bar Club in London.
