Who are Gin Panic

Gin Panic are a five piece rock band who take their influences from a wide cross-section of music, film and media. GIN PANIC was formed in early 1999 by Alex Robertson and Kerrie McEvoy whilst at University in Stafford where they subsequently met drummer Mono. Frustrated by a lack of any live scene in the town, they created their own which lead a variety of other bands out of their respective closets along the way. They decamped to London in 2001 and, enlisting the help of Alex’s sister Kate, which completed the line-up

Gin Panic have recorded two EP’s, ‘A:EP’ and ‘…and can therefore legally kill you’. Tracks from both of these EP’s were featured on XFM, BBC Radio Stoke and Sound Radio receiving rave reviews from each. The band have played many gigs around London and Britain, including gigs at the famous Borderline, The Bull and Gate, The 12 Bar Club, Cherry Jam and students unions around the country; the highlight of which was supporting Martin Grech at Surrey University. The band also play regular acoustic shows at ‘Cadenza’, which is held at the Mean Fiddler’s Bartok venue in London.
