Description

Being 747 Live At Bull and Gate, London for OnlineTV

Here we have a band that formed from 2 other great bands. Their music is clear and concise and is more like Early Edison with songs like “I know whats good for you” working to try and save you from yourself. Socially significant and musically enchanting they not only entertain they have that wonderful social message that is not obnoxious.

Who are Being 747

They claim to originally be formed in 2003, but this early 2002 concert shows they were active way before that and OnlineTV recorded their earliest concert – something OnlineTV was famous for. They were based in Huddersfield and Being 747 is a trio fronted by former Landspeed Loungers songwriter Dave Cooke (vocals, guitar) with The Scaramanga Six (coming soon here!) leaders Steven Morricone (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) and Paul Morricone (drums, backing vocals)

Cook and the Morricones use this band to produce and perform educational rock shows with the aim of teaching science with their EduPop Productions company. The band has toured shows such as Amoeba to Zebra (covering evolution and the history of life on earth), The Clockwork Universe (covering the history of classical physics and the development of the scientific method) and The Invisible Stuff (covering atomic physics and magnetism) to schools and science festivals across the UK and Ireland. You can visit their website to find out more, they are really cool!
